Families and Visitors
It is now universally accepted that the wider family network also needs to be considered as part of an individual’s recovery from addiction. Current research strongly indicates there are better outcomes for all if the family / significant others are included in the individuals' programme.
Working with families is an integral part of the holistic treatment approach at LHTC and our aim is to raise awareness of the importance of positive relationships as part of the recovery process whilst supporting people, where possible and appropriate, to (re)build and/or (re)establish relationships based on open, honest, adult communication.
As family and friends are aware providing a safe and welcoming environment for everyone is of paramount importance. Please therefore note all alcohol consumption and drug use is strictly prohibited on the grounds of Littledale Hall and no visitors will be allowed on the premises or grounds whilst under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.
If you would like further information and/or guidance about the many ways in which you can support your relative or friend whilst they are resident at LHTC please discuss with the Admissions Coordinator, Registered Manager or Treatment Practitioner.
