SAFETY

It is vital that people feel safe to explore their addiction in a non-threatening and open environment. Commitment to being a member of Littledale Hall means you implicitly agree to keep the following rules:

  • staying safe - no violence or threats of violence to self (self harm) others or property
  • staying safe - no contact with relatives or friends that use illegal drugs, are addicted to alcohol or are currently or recently involved with the Criminal Justice System
  • being honest (no stealing of any kind)
  • being alcohol and drug free (other than use of medication prescribed by a GP or other medical practitioner)
  • actively participating in all aspects of programme delivery.
  • Anyone who doesn't work to ensure the community is safe for everyone will be asked to account for their behaviour to the rest of the community. Potentially, a resident may be asked to leave if their behaviour is serious enough or persistent enough to warrant this (e.g. because it has placed the whole community at risk).
